Erica Deskins (Edy Blu)

Erica Deskins (Edy Blu) has a diverse work experience in various industries. Erica is currently working at IndieFlow as an Artist Relations and Community Manager, where they collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to enhance user experience and gather feedback. Erica is responsible for creating and managing an active Discord community to strengthen the IndieFlow brand. Erica also represents the company at industry conferences and within the community.

Prior to their current role, Erica worked independently under their own company, Edy Blu LLC. Erica served as a Songwriter, Performer, and Educator, licensing music for TV, film, and advertising projects. Erica gained recognition for their commanding stage presence and ability to engage large audiences. Erica was also responsible for organizing events, rehearsals, and concerts related to the creation and performance of music.

Before pursuing a career in music, Erica worked as a Physical Education Teacher at the Montessori School of McLean. Erica designed lesson plans and conducted physical education classes for students aged 3 to 12, following the Virginia Standards of Learning. Erica's efforts to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle among students and staff led to the successful implementation of the Winter Fitness Challenge.

Additionally, Erica gained experience in promotional campaigns as a Senior Brand Ambassador and Admin Assistant at PBI Marketing. Erica led on-site promotional campaigns, trained new team members, and provided support to team members on-site. Prior to that, Erica worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at both PwC and CACI International Inc, and as an Internal Auditor at PwC.

Erica Deskins (Edy Blu) attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting.
