Samuel Wells has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Samuel began their career in 2008 as a Technical Customer Service Representative at Centennial Wireless, where they provided support to customers. In 2010, they joined Big Lots Stores as an Associate Manager before transitioning to the Army National Guard in 2009 as a 25B: Information Technology Specialist. In this role, they installed, operated, and maintained computer systems and networks, performed system and network administration, and assisted in wide area network management.

In 2012, Wells joined INdigital as a Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining computer systems. Samuel later advanced to the role of Senior Network Engineer, contributing their expertise to network operations and engineering. Currently, Wells holds the position of Security Engineering Manager at INdigital, overseeing security-related aspects of the organization.

Samuel Wells completed their high school education at North Side High School from 2004 to 2008, earning a Core 40 Diploma in General Studies. Later, they pursued higher education at Western Governors University from 2018 to 2023, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.

In addition to their formal education, Samuel also holds several certifications. Samuel acquired the CompTIA Security+ certification in December 2010, followed by the CompTIA A+ certification in August 2018. In September 2019, they obtained the CompTIA Network+ certification, and in November 2019, they earned another CompTIA Security+ certification.

Samuel further expanded their expertise by acquiring various certifications in the field of cybersecurity. These include CompTIA Cloud Essentials (June 2020), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) (February 2022), and the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)² in August 2022. Samuel also obtained the Associate of (ISC)² certification in October 2022.

Additionally, Samuel has obtained certifications from other institutions such as CompTIA PenTest+ (April 2022), CompTIA Project+ (December 2021), Technical Support Fundamentals, and The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking (both in March 2018). Samuel also holds the MEF-CECP certification from the Carrier Ethernet Academy (December 2019) and the CCENT certification from Cisco (June 2017).
