Tovio Roberts is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and performance arts. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Indigo since March 2023, Tovio focuses on developing an innovative InsurTech platform for Medical Professional Liability insurance utilizing artificial intelligence. Tovio's previous role as Lead Data Scientist at ClosedLoop.ai involved risk prediction and outcome analysis in the medical domain. Tovio also contributed as a Data Science Instructor at Galvanize Inc, delivering curriculum and teaching various technical subjects. With over 20 years of experience as a stage performer, including work with circus groups, Tovio combines creative artistry with technical expertise. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Machine Learning from Metropolitan State University of Denver and additional studies at Galvanize Inc.
