Steve Gilleland

Steve Gilleland, MBA, has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as Director of Partnerships and Growth Strategy at Indigov, Consultant at Compass Pro Bono - National, Director of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at FEMA, and Policy Strategy and Community Affairs at WhyHotel. Prior to these roles, they also served as a Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense at the United States Department of Defense, Chief of Staff at the Office of Chairman Michael McCaul, Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director at the Office of Chairman John Carter, and Legislative Director & Budget Advisor at the Office of Congressman Steve Austria. Their experience spans across governmental affairs, policy strategy, and consulting in various organizations.

Steve Gilleland earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Miami University. Steve later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
