Ryan Shimko

Ryan Shimko has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Ryan is currently serving as the Associate Creative Director at IndiMade Brands, where they lead the production of ecommerce photography and establishes brand style guides across multiple brands. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Photography at Steel City, capturing high-quality lifestyle imagery for e-commerce. Ryan also gained experience as a Marketing Communications Intern at Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council and as a Digital Content Specialist at Two-Faced Ceramics, where they managed the creation of lifestyle photographs and collaborated on set designs. Additionally, they served as an Image Specialist at Concept Art Gallery, editing and coordinating digital assets, and as the Manager of Digital Marketing & Communications at Sabika Jewelry, where they directed the creation of photographs and implemented social media marketing strategies. Overall, Ryan has demonstrated proficiency in photography, creative direction, branding, and marketing throughout their career.

Ryan Shimko completed a Bachelor's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they participated in a Study Abroad program at Kingston University, focusing on Fashion Marketing. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Milton Hershey School, graduating in 2016.
