Gijs van Riesen has extensive experience in the IT service and support sector, currently serving as a Service Engineer at Indito since June 2016. Prior to this role, Gijs held positions at CRV as a Service Engineer and at Brunel as an IT Support Administrator. Gijs also contributed to the Belastingdienst as a Servicedesk medewerker from October 2006 to April 2014, where responsibilities included first-line incident resolution. Early career experience includes working as a tester and trainer at WZC Rijnhoven. Gijs holds an ITILv3 Foundation Degree in IT Service Management and a certification in Advanced First Aid from the Rode Kruis District Twente. Academic background includes a degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, which was completed between 2002 and 2004.
