Jesse Diehl

Jesse Diehl has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the creative industry. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Minuteman Press until 2008. In 2009, Jesse had an internship opportunity as an Intern Art Director at Wasserman + Partners Advertising, where they gained valuable agency experience under the mentorship of senior art directors and the creative director.

Jesse then progressed to become an Art Director at Wasserman + Partners Advertising, working collaboratively with writers to develop conceptual solutions for clients, such as ICBC, London Drugs, Vancity, and Granville Island Brewing. Jesse's illustration skills added value to their role as they also served as an in-house illustrator. Jesse'stenure as Art Director lasted until September 2014.

From 2014 to 2016, Jesse served as the Lead Animator/Editor at Eagle Vision Video Productions Ltd., where they were responsible for animating and editing videos. In 2017, they joined TAXI as an Art Director, executing creative concepts in multiple mediums and collaborating with the creative director to align with client objectives. Jesse presented layouts of concepts to account groups and clients for discussion and approval. Jesse'stime at TAXI lasted until January 2018.

Next, Jesse worked as an Art Director at Mercer Creative from April to October 2018. Jesse'srole involved overseeing artistic direction and contributing to the execution of projects. Since 2019, Jesse has been affiliated with INDOCHINO, initially joining as a Senior Graphic Designer and subsequently transitioning to the role of Art Director in September 2020.

Additionally, Jesse has maintained a successful freelance career under the banner of Jesse Diehl: Illustration & Motion Design since January 2012. Jesse has extensive experience in illustrating and animating for various media, including TV, video, paid social, and the web. Jesse'swork encompasses a range of projects, such as animated explainer videos and paid social ads, with a focus on creating engaging and on-brand animations.

Jesse Diehl began their education in 2004 at Northern Lights College, where they completed a 1 Year Certificate in Fundamentals of Art. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Capilano University and obtained a 3 year Diploma in Illustration & Graphic Design.
