Juan Joel Casilla Castillo

Juan Joel Casilla Castillo is a highly experienced telecommunications professional with a robust background in RF spectrum management, quality assurance, and network planning. Currently serving as the Senior Engineer of RF Spectrum Management at INDOTEL since January 2021, Juan Joel oversees the surveillance and control of the Dominican Republic's radio electrical spectrum. In addition, Juan Joel holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, educating students in radio frequency signals transmission and advanced telecommunications systems. Previously, Juan Joel worked at Huawei for nearly a decade, leading the regional quality assurance efforts and managing critical telecommunications projects across the Caribbean. Juan Joel's foundational experience was gained at Wind Telecom S.A., where responsibilities included network planning and implementation. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, both obtained from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo.
