Petros Kounnos

Petros Kounnos has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Petros started their career as an Engineer at CLEANSMART LIMITED in January 2017 and worked until February 2018. In March 2018, they joined Indra Renewable Technologies as a Project Engineer, where they worked until December 2018. Petros then moved up to the role of Test and Certification Team Lead from January 2019 to February 2021. From March 2021 to March 2023, Petros served as the System Engineer Team Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Systems Chief Engineer at Indra Renewable Technologies, starting from March 2023.

Petros Kounnos has a strong educational background with a focus in electrical engineering. Petros earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering for Sustainable and Renewable Energy Systems from the same university, studying from 2012 to 2013. Petros also holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, where they completed their studies from 2005 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Petros has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Petros has also engaged in specialized training related to electric vehicles charging communication and technical specifications. Petros has received certifications from CharIN Academy and CHAdeMO Association in areas like "CCS Charging Communication on ISO 15118," "CHAdeMO 1.0.1 Certification Process," and "EVPS-006 version 2 certification process."

Additionally, Petros has honed their skills in LabVIEW, a software development environment for creating custom test, design, and control systems. Petros has completed multiple courses at The University of Nottingham, including "Controlling Instrumentation Using Labview," "Data acquisition with LabVIEW for Engineers," "LabVIEW for Engineers," and "Quantitative methods for Engineers."
