Alyaa Altabbaa, MPH, CHES is currently a Project Manager for ESSENCE at InductiveHealth Informatics. From 2018-2022, they were a Program Analyst II at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, where they lead and supported CSTE's Syndromic Surveillance and Climate Health portfolios. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from 2017-2018 and a Teacher's Assistant at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University from 2017. From 2012-2017, they were an Emergency Room Medical Scribe at Methodist Healthcare.
Alyaa Altabbaa holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University, which they obtained in 2018 after studying Behavioral Sciences and Health Education. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience from Rhodes College in 2015. In addition to their academic credentials, Alyaa Altabbaa holds a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc., which they obtained in October 2021. Alyaa also holds certifications in ICS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System from FEMA, obtained in December 2019, and Best Practices for the Multi-Project Manager from the American Management Association, obtained in October 2019.
