Pamela Holland

Pamela Holland has extensive experience in the field of biology and research. Pamela'smost recent role was as the SVP Biology at InduPro, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. as the SVP Research from 2021 to 2023. At Alpine, they were responsible for overseeing the development of internal research programs and managing collaborations in oncology and autoimmune/inflammation therapeutic areas.

Before joining Alpine, Pamela worked at Surface Oncology Inc. from 2014 to 2021, where they held various roles including VP Cancer Biology, Executive Director of Cancer Biology, and Director of Cancer Biology. Surface Oncology focuses on developing next generation cancer immunotherapies, targeting immune processes that cancer cells use to evade immune attack.

Pamela'searlier experience includes working at Amgen as a Principal Scientist from 2002 to 2014, where they contributed to the development of oncology therapeutics and supported target discovery for cancer immunotherapy. Prior to joining Amgen, Pamela was a Post-doctoral fellow at Immunex from 1999 to 2002, analyzing phenotypes from targeted disruptions of novel kinases in mice.

Pamela'scareer started as a Research Assistant at Cetus Corporation from 1986 to 1992, where they studied the biochemical properties of thermostable DNA polymerases for diagnostic assays. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from 1984 to 1986.

Pamela Holland obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physiology from UC San Diego in 1985. Pamela then pursued a PhD at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, specializing in Cell Biology and Biochemistry, from 1992 to 1999.
