Reina Castro, MBA, CCP

Reina Castro, MBA, CCP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Reina is currently serving as the Senior Director of People and Culture at INDUS Technology, Inc. since July 2021. Before that, they founded and worked as the Principal Consultant at New Oasis HR starting in January 2019. From August 2018 to July 2021, Reina worked as an Extension Educator at UC San Diego Extension.

Prior to their role at UC San Diego Extension, Reina was the Director of Compensation at Easter Seals Southern California from January 2016 to January 2019. Reina also served as the Human Resources Manager at D & K Engineering from September 2013 to January 2016. Additionally, Reina worked in HR roles at Cymer, SeQual Technologies, Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc., and Illumina between 2003 and 2009.

Throughout their career, Reina has gained valuable expertise in various HR functions, including compensation, consulting, program management, and business partnership. Their experience and qualifications, including an MBA and CCP, make their a highly competent professional in the field of human resources.

Reina Castro has a diverse education history. Reina obtained a Certificate in Human Resource Management from San Diego State University. Reina then pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same university, completing it between 1997 and 1999. Reina is currently studying at the University of Phoenix, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Reina began their MBA program in 2020 and is expected to complete it by 2022. Additionally, Reina has obtained the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork in July 2016.
