Robert Throckmorton

Robert Throckmorton's work experience includes a recent role as a Project Manager at INDUS Technology, Inc., where they apply extensive technical knowledge in Aircraft Carrier or Amphibious Ship Combat Systems Engineering to plan and manage complex projects. Robert is skilled in resource management, planning, scheduling, and coordination. Throckmorton also has a history in the US Navy, serving as a Chief Petty Officer at Surface Development Squadron One and as a Fire Controlman. Robert has experience as a Combat Systems Training Team Lead, Afloat Training Group Subject Matter Expert, Trainer, and Assessor. Additionally, Throckmorton worked as a Professional Recruiter during their time in the Navy. Robert served as a Fire Controlman Chief Petty Officer on USS Anchorage LPD23 and John P. Murtha LPD26, and as a Fire Control Petty Officer First Class on USS BOXER LHD-4. Robert also served as a Fire Control Petty Officer Second Class on USS Oldendorf DD-972/USS Fletcher DD-992.

Robert Throckmorton pursued their education at various institutions and obtained a diverse range of certifications throughout their career. Robert attended Grossmont High School from 1990 to 1991, where they received their high school diploma. Following this, they enrolled at Cuyamaca College from 1998 to 2004, earning an A.S. in Architectural Interior Design and Graphics, specializing in Architecture.

Continuing their educational journey, Throckmorton attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2013 to 2022. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in the field of General Management.

In addition to their formal education, Throckmorton also acquired several certifications. Robert completed the Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) program from LinkedIn in August 2021. Furthermore, they obtained their Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Veterans Transition Support in the same month and year. Throckmorton also acquired the OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification from UC San Diego Extension in August 2021.

Lastly, Throckmorton has been an Eagle Scout, an achievement they received in 1990 as a member of the Boy Scouts of America.
