Steven Swaby

Steven Swaby has extensive experience in finance and management roles. Steven started their career as a Financial Analyst at Excel Promotions Ltd, where they focused on monthly account reconciliations and monitoring general ledger transactions. Steven then moved on to Andrew Martin International as a Financial Controller, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and internal audits. Swaby then joined Smurfit Kappa, first as a Financial Controller and later as the Plant General Manager for the Purfleet Operation. In these roles, they oversaw financial management, staff management, and the relocation of the plant. Most recently, Swaby has been working at Industrial Chemicals Ltd, initially as a Financial Accounting Manager and then progressing to Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance. In their current position as Finance Director, they are responsible for managing financial controls within the business. Overall, Swaby has shown strong leadership and financial expertise throughout their career.

Steven Swaby attended London Oratory School from 1989 to 1995, where they earned 9 GCSE's including Maths, English, and Science. Steven then went on to study at FTC London from 2001 to 2004, earning a degree in Association of Accounting Technicians FMAAT in Accounting and Finance. From 2006 to 2008, they attended BPP Maidstone and received a degree in CIMA - ACMA, specializing in Finance.
