Iacopo Genesio has a solid work experience that spans various roles in finance and accounting. Iacopo started their career at ERG Spa as a Business Controller, where they developed results for key stakeholders and implemented budget variance analysis. Iacopo also created monitoring systems for critical business factors and provided decision-making support to senior management. Iacopo later became a Financial Controller at ERG Spa, where they implemented a data processing system and designed a multi-dimensional balance scorecard for effective data analysis.

After their time at ERG Spa, Iacopo joined GE as a Project Finance Manager, handling financial management and control for pipeline projects. Iacopo closely monitored project progress, managed budgets, and ensured timely quarter-end closing.

Following their role at GE, Iacopo joined Gilbarco Veeder Root - DANAHER as an Assistant CFO, providing support and assistance to the CFO in financial and data modeling. Iacopo led the period-end financial closing of a major business line and conducted data analysis and reporting. Iacopo then became an FP&A Manager and EMEA FP&A Manager, responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for multiple entities within the EMEA region.

After their time at Gilbarco Veeder Root - DANAHER, Iacopo joined Fortive as the Head of Finance MENA, overseeing financial operations in the Middle East and North Africa. Iacopo recently joined Industrial Scientific as the EMEA Finance Director, taking full responsibility for finance operations in the region. Iacopo leads a team of seven people and manages accounting, financial planning and analysis, and improvements to the finance organization. Iacopo is also involved in strategic initiatives related to service operations.

Iacopo Genesio obtained their Master's Degree in Management Control from ISTUD Business School in the year 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Laurea in Economics from Università degli Studi di Firenze between 1993 and 1999. In 1995-1996, they attended IPAG Business School as part of the ERASMUS program, though the field of study is not specified.
