Filipe de Vasconcelos Fernandes

Filipe de Vasconcelos Fernandes serves as a Guest Assistant Professor and Guest Lecturer focused on Economics, Economic Law, Tax Law, and International Tax Law at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa since October 2012. Presently, Filipe is the Executive Director of the Renewable Hydrogen Engineering and Economics Course at Associação Portuguesa para a Promoção do Hidrogénio and holds the position of Counsel at VdA Vieira de Almeida, specializing in the taxation of regulated industries and public finance. As a founder of H2Tax, a think tank dedicated to hydrogen taxation, Filipe also engages as a Legal Expert with the World Economic Forum and contributes to VdA Academia as a Scientific Council member. An Associate Researcher at CIDEEFF, Filipe’s academic credentials include multiple degrees in Tax Law, Economic Law, Mathematics, and ESG Investing, alongside ongoing PhD studies in Tax Law at the University of Lisbon.
