Zheng Yang

Mass Spectrometry Scientist at Inficon

Zheng Yang is a Mass Spectrometry Scientist at INFICON since May 2018, with prior experience as a Post Doctorate RA at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from March 2015 to May 2018, where work involved developing high-resolution photoelectron Velocity-Map Imaging apparatus for studying anionic species. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University, focusing on laser ablation ion sources, and at the University of Minnesota, conducting organometallic studies related to Fourier transform mass spectrometry. Zheng also gained experience as a PhD candidate at ICCAS, developing Electrospray Mass Spectrometry techniques. Zheng holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a BS in Chemical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
