Viktar Koush has extensive experience in hardware development and design.
Viktar started their career as a Hardware Engineer at IZOVAC Ltd in November 2000, where they worked until July 2001.
Viktar then moved on to Guzik Technical Enterprises in July 2001, where they served as a Hardware Engineer until March 2008.
During this time, they focused on hardware design, schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and prototyping. Viktar also gained experience in mechanical design for electronic devices.
In April 2008, they joined Infinera as a Hardware Design Engineer, responsible for schematic capture, component selection, prototyping, and evaluation. Viktar also supervised PCB layout and executed system bring-up.
In May 2012, they were promoted to a Senior Hardware Development Engineer role at Infinera, where they designed control boards for optical amplifiers and supervised PCB layout. Viktar also completed Laser Safety certification for the designed amplifiers and transferred designs to manufacturing.
Finally, in May 2016, they became a Principal Hardware Development Engineer at Infinera. In this role, they brought control boards for optical amplifiers to the highest level of complexity and density. Viktar utilized SoC to control analog electronics, designed new algorithms for digital processing, and achieved new extremes for the dynamic range of photo detector amplifiers.
Viktar Koush started their education at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in 1992. Viktar pursued a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication, completing their studies in 1997. After that, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a candidate degree in Electronics and Telecommunication in the years 1997-2000.
