Lou Barile

Lou Barile is a Senior Network Engineer at Infinit Technology Solutions. Previously, Lou worked as a Network Engineer at Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses from September 2017 to August 2018. prior to that, Lou was with TERACAI Corporation from April 2009 to June 2020 where they held the positions of Sr Technical Services Engineer and Sr Professional Services Engineer.

During their time at TERACAI Corporation, Lou led the migration from a Checkpoint firewall to a redundant Cisco ASA firewall and Cisco Firepower solution. Lou also completed an overhaul of a SUNY college data center while maintaining 100% up time throughout the refresh. In addition, they upgraded the network infrastructure of two schools with 40 Cisco Meraki core switches and 60 access points.

As Lead Cisco Nexus Engineer, Lou was responsible for refreshing two separate data centers during the complete upgrade of Enterprise Wireless network and Catalyst access layer switching and Enterprise routing. Additionally, they served as Administrator of Cisco’s assessment program and the facilitator for Managed Services on-boarding process.

Other notable projects include designing and implementing a community hospital network that replaced the entire network with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ASA and Enterprise wireless Access points; creating a turnkey customer solution using Meraki wireless, switching and security appliances for over 20 remote locations; and ensuring HIPPA Compliance for multiple data centers within a NJ Healthcare company by creating a fully meshed network utilizing ELAN metro Ethernet service with a secure VPN overlay and upgrading from ASA to ASA 5500 X-models.

Lou Barile attended Le Moyne College where they received their BS in Labor Relations. Lou also has certification from Cisco Meraki in CMNA, Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Duo Security in Certified Level 1 Duo Administrator, Level One Administrator, Cisco in Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security Firepower, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Their manager is Edward Swackhamer, Manager, Engineering Services. They are on a team with Laura Newport - Network Engineer, Dwaine Ricklefs - Senior Network Engineer, and Evan Bulriss - Senior Network Engineer.
