Wilfred Mathanaraj

Wilfred Mathanaraj has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Wilfred most recently worked as the Vice President of Engineering and Pre-Sales Engineering at Infinity since August 2022. In this role, they led the technology team, implemented an agile scrum process, and advised on the growth and expansion of the company. Prior to that, Wilfred served as the Vice President of Engineering at Infinity from November 2019 to July 2022, where they led the technology team and delivered strategic initiatives.

Before joining Infinity, Wilfred worked at XE.com as the Product Development Manager from February 2018 to October 2019. Wilfred led the UK development team, acted as the global Agile Coach and Development Principal, and delivered strategic initiatives.

From May 2016 to February 2018, Wilfred was the Principal Product Owner at CA Technologies. Wilfred worked closely with internal and external stakeholders, defined backlogs, and used agile methodologies to realize business goals.

Wilfred also has experience working at Mozilla as a Senior Product Manager from January 2013 to May 2016, where they led a team in defining feature backlogs for future releases of Firefox OS globally.

Prior to their role at Mozilla, Wilfred worked at Research In Motion as the Quality and Performance Manager EMEA from February 2012 to December 2012, and as the Technical Manager EMEA from January 2005 to January 2012. In these roles, they managed teams, coordinated product releases, and performed in-field data investigations for technical improvements across the EMEA region.

Wilfred began their career as a Software Engineer at Nokia UK Ltd from December 2002 to December 2004, where they owned the complete lifecycle of core software releases for S40 Nokia.

Wilfred also worked as a Consultant Analyst at PA Consulting Group from September 2000 to November 2002, where they developed and tested software and solutions for third-party customers.

Throughout their career, Wilfred has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on delivering strategic initiatives.

Wilfred Mathanaraj holds a Masters degree in Electronics and Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham, which they pursued from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Goethe Gymnasium from 1987 to 1994, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as "Certified Scrum Product Owner" and "Scrum Master Certified (SMC)" from the Scrum Alliance in February 2017 and April 2016 respectively.
