Chris Crawford

Chris Crawford has over 15 years of experience in the field of finance. Chris began their career in 2007 as a Financial Analyst at Cisco Systems, where they held various roles including Senior Financial Analyst of Service Provider Networking FP&A, Senior Financial Analyst for Telepresence Technologies, Emerging Technologies Finance Analyst, and Financial Analyst (S-ox/Business Intellegence). In 2013, they joined VMware as the Director of Finance, Customer Ops, Sub & SaaS. In this role, they drove and partnered on key decision-making framework and other SaaS initiatives, defined short and medium-term business outcomes and measurable KPIs, and partnered closely with Deal Mgmt, Sales Finance, BU Finance, and CDTO to build out and scale SaaS related infrastructure, reporting, and systems. Chris also held roles as R&D Finance Lead/Director and Sr. Finance Manager (Investment Strategy) and Sr. Finance Manager (BU finance). In 2022, they moved to InfluxData as the Head Of Financial Planning.

Chris Crawford obtained their MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business in 2013, where they studied Finance and International Business. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Corporate Financial Management with Honors from San Jose State University in 2006.
