Francesco Fidecaro is a Professor of Physics at the University of Pisa Physics Department, a position held since November 1992, and serves as the Director of the Physics Department at INFN since 1978, specializing in High Energy Physics and Gravitational Waves. Previously, Francesco Fidecaro acted as the Scientific Director at the European Gravitational Observatory from May 2008 to June 2011 and worked as a Research Assistant at Scuola Normale Superiore from January 1980 to October 1992. Additional experience includes serving as a Scientific Associate at CERN in 1991-1992. Francesco Fidecaro earned a degree in Physics from the Università di Pisa and diplomas from both Scuola Normale Superiore, all attained between 1974 and 1980.
