Johan Snels

Johan Snels is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering and financial management. Currently serving as Managing Partner and Data Engineer at InfoFarm since March 2018, Johan specializes in big data and machine learning, utilizing expertise in Scala, Python, and Java to optimize supply chain processes. Previously, Johan founded SlickApps, leading the successful commercialization of the mobile application 'Cheers.' At Bank Degroof, from August 2010 to September 2015, Johan worked as a Fund Manager and Portfolio Manager, focusing on thematic investing across various industries. Early career experience includes auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers and an internship at Antwerp Business Center. Johan holds a Post Graduate Master of Finance from the University of Antwerp Management School and a Master's in Financial Management from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen.
