Alok Acharya

Alok Acharya has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alok currently holds the positions of Vice President & Business Unit Head at Infogain, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Vice President at Infogain from July 2020 to August 2022 and as a Director from January 2018 to June 2020.

Alok's earlier experience includes a long tenure at HCL Technologies, where they took on various roles and responsibilities. From April 2014 to December 2017, they worked as an Associate General Manager, Engagement Manager, and Delivery Director. During this time, they managed multiple engagements in the Travel & Hospitality domain and successfully grew HCL's partnership with Sabre GLBL Inc. Alok also led solution and delivery for Sabre engagement across multiple geographies and established metrics-driven program execution.

From September 2010 to March 2014, Alok served as a Group Manager, Account Owner, and Solutions Lead at HCL Technologies. In this capacity, they led the delivery of numerous customer engagements, designed solutions for large IT transformation projects, and handled marquee customers.

Prior to that, they held roles such as Senior Manager, Service Delivery Manager, and Program Lead from July 2007 to August 2010, and Project Manager, Delivery Lead, and Technical Lead from April 2003 to August 2007, all within the Travel & Hospitality domain at HCL Technologies. During these periods, they delivered successful projects for clients like InterContinental Hotels Group, CEVA Logistics, Starwood Hotels, and more.

Before joining HCL Technologies, Alok worked at Momentum Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2002 to March 2003, where they contributed to rapid software development projects involving various technologies.

Earlier in their career, Alok gained experience as a Software Engineer at Max Ateev Ltd. from March 2001 to September 2002 and at Ask e-Com Solutions Pvt Ltd. from January 2000 to February 2001. In these positions, they worked on various projects, including e-commerce portals, process automation, and incentive management solutions.

Alok Acharya obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang, during the years 1995 to 1999.
