Gary Nugent

Gary Nugent is the CEO of Informa Tech, a division of Informa. Since its inception in 2019, Informa Tech has combined data, marketing and industry expertise to become a leader in market insight and market access for the global business technology industry. It is home to over 100 trusted global brands and 1000 industry experts, including over 400 research analysts and consultants and has grown and acquired digital businesses NetLine, Industry Dive, and Canalys.

Gary has over 20 years of International Sales and Marketing experience having lived and worked in Dubai, Geneva, London and Paris. He joined the Informa Group in 2014 as Commercial Director for the Business Intelligence division from Alcatel-Lucent, where he was most recently Head of the Managed Services Business. Prior to that, Gary held the position of Head of Marketing. Before joining Alcatel-Lucent, Gary worked for leading global Information Technology brands such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems and IBM.
