Jasmina Malicevic

Jasmina Malicevic has a diverse work experience starting from 2008. Jasmina began their career as a Web developer, site designer, and site administrator at Eagle Ray Marketing in Mankato, MN, USA. After that, they worked as a Software Developer at Serbian Object Laboratories, where they developed software using Java and the company's private framework and also worked on web development using GWT, Javascript, and CSS. In 2012, they became a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjacka Banja. Jasmina then pursued a Ph.D. in computer systems from EPFL, advised by Willy Zwaenepoel, starting in 2013. During their Ph.D., they focused on exploring the impact of irregular data structures, such as graphs, on system design and algorithms for data mining. Jasmina also showed interest in storage implications for large-scale analytics systems. In 2014, Jasmina worked as a Graduate Intern at Intel Labs. Later, in 2020, they joined Swisscom as a Big data, Analytics, and AI Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Informal Systems starting from December 2021.

Jasmina Malicevic has a strong educational background in computer science and software engineering. Jasmina obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science in Software Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, from 2010 to 2012. Jasmina also has experience in the field of Software Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where they attended from 2008 to 2009. Jasmina earned their Bachelor of Software Engineering from the University of Belgrade in 2010, further solidifying their knowledge in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Jasmina has also obtained the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment. However, the specific timing of when they obtained this certification is not provided.
