Zhiwei Li

Zhiwei (Vivi) Li is a current Research Assistant at USC Information Sciences Institute, focusing on the design of a database system for biomedical research and streamlining machine learning development processes using Python. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where Zhiwei practiced machine learning pipelines and managed databases using SQL and DDL. Zhiwei also interned as a Data Scientist at Wenxiang Education Technologies, analyzing survey data and improving online learning metrics, and as a Data Analyst at Deloitte, where Zhiwei developed data management workflows and led training sessions to enhance data accuracy. Zhiwei holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Statistical Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California.
