Hanan Abdalla

Hanan Abdalla possesses extensive experience in management and finance within the information technology and humanitarian sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager in the Program Management Office at the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) since May 2014, Hanan is responsible for overseeing the Micro and Small Enterprises Project, focusing on compliance with financial regulations. Previous roles include ITAC Financial Control Unit Manager at ITIDA from March 2008 to April 2014, Head of Admin/Finance/HR Unit at the World Food Programme from 2001 to 2008, and Head of Business Unit at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations from 1998 to 2001. Hanan’s career began at UNICEF from 1986 to 1996 as a Finance Assistant/Fund Raising Coordinator. Hanan holds an education from the American University in Cairo and is a graduate of Port Said School.
