Yoo Jin Chung

Yoo Jin Chung has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and teaching. They began working as a Software Developer Intern at NeoLAB Convergence Inc. in June 2019, where they led the Machine Learning Symbol Recognition Project and achieved an accuracy of 98.8% through the incorporation of hardware support. Yoo Jin then worked as a Tutor at the University of California San Diego from January 2019 to January 2020. In June 2020, they joined Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer Intern, where they developed an RNN and CNN handwriting recognition model prototype for the Galaxy Note 20, achieving an accuracy of 89.05% for the RNN and 96% for the CNN. Yoo Jin also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego - Jacobs School of Engineering from March 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they taught programming courses to hundreds of students and discrete mathematics to over 300 students. Yoo Jin's most recent position is as a Software Engineer at Informed.IQ, where they started in July 2021.

Yoo Jin Chung completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, from 2017 to 2019. Subsequently, Yoo Jin pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and successfully completed it from 2019 to 2021.
