Yoo Jin Chung has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and teaching. They began working as a Software Developer Intern at NeoLAB Convergence Inc. in June 2019, where they led the Machine Learning Symbol Recognition Project and achieved an accuracy of 98.8% through the incorporation of hardware support. Yoo Jin then worked as a Tutor at the University of California San Diego from January 2019 to January 2020. In June 2020, they joined Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer Intern, where they developed an RNN and CNN handwriting recognition model prototype for the Galaxy Note 20, achieving an accuracy of 89.05% for the RNN and 96% for the CNN. Yoo Jin also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego - Jacobs School of Engineering from March 2020 to June 2021. Yoo Jin Chung completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, from 2017 to 2019. Subsequently, Yoo Jin pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and successfully completed it from 2019 to 2021.
