Vice President Of Cryptographic Research And Development at InfoSec Global

Vladimir Soukharev, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of cryptography. From 2016 onwards, they have held various roles at InfoSec Global, including Vice President of Cryptographic Research and Development since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as Principal Cryptographic Technologist and Chief Post-Quantum Researcher from March 2020 to December 2022, and as Chief Post-Quantum Researcher & Cryptographer from March 2018 to March 2020. In their earlier career, Vladimir worked as a Cryptographer at InfoSec Global, where they focused on analysis, innovations, and development in public-key cryptography, particularly in Agile Cryptography and Post-Quantum Cryptography. Prior to joining InfoSec Global, they worked at the University of Waterloo as a Graduate Research Assistant, specializing in cryptography, from September 2009 to April 2016, and also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during the same period.

Vladimir Soukharev, Ph.D., completed their education at the University of Waterloo. Vladimir obtained their Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Combinatorics & Optimization and Pure Mathematics in 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Mathematics degree in Combinatorics and Optimization with a specialization in Cryptography, which they completed in 2010. Finally, they successfully earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cryptography, Security, and Privacy in 2016.
