Shahin Sharifi

Shahin Sharifi is a seasoned professional in data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Data Science Practice Lead at Infosys since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles at WIGeoGIS GmbH from November 2013 to November 2024, where Shahin held positions such as Data Scientist, AI Solution Architect, Senior Software Engineer, and Data Science Researcher. Additionally, Shahin contributed to machine learning and data science as a Senior Research Assistant at Delft University of Technology from September 2017 to May 2024, and worked as a Research Engineer at Technische Universität München from December 2012 to July 2015. As a co-founder of MicMap, Shahin implemented the first location-based business directory in Iran from 2010 to 2013 and designed a web-based error-monitoring system at Iran Khodro between 2008 and 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Delft University of Technology, a Master's degree in Geo Informatics from Technical University of Munich, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from University of Science and Culture.
