Ian DeSmit

Ian DeSmit has been working in the professional industry since 2014. Ian started as an Office Assistant at Gardner-Webb University, where they provided detailed information by phone and in person about college programs and classes in a professional manner. Ian then moved to Sandbar Equities as an Equities Investor, where they executed intraday strategies to profit off price changes for a given asset. In 2021, they joined Infotech Solutions as a Lead Technical Recruiter / Sourcing Manager and was responsible for high volume recruiting for Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Software houses, FAANG companies, and other cutting edge technology companies. Ian also held the roles of Sr. Technical Recruiter and Technical Recruiter at Infotech Solutions, where they specialized in the placement of IT professionals in the New York City Metropolitan area’s brokerage houses and financial firms.

Ian DeSmit received a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro between 2017 and 2019.
