Eric Mercier

Eric Mercier is an experienced IT executive with a robust background in leadership roles. Currently serving as CIO at Infrabel since January 2014, Eric has also held the position of Principal CEO at Syntigo between April 2014 and December 2015. Prior to Infrabel, Eric was the Global CIO at SNCB Holding from December 2007 to December 2013. Additionally, Eric worked as an Expert ICT in the Cabinet of the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance from April 2001 to November 2007, and as Chef de projet at SNCB from October 1992 to March 2001. Eric holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, obtained between 1987 and 1992.
