Elyse Johnson, PE has been working in the engineering field since 2013. Elyse began as an Engineering Intern at Metal Container Corp., where they optimized plant production by improving time efficiency, operation costs, and plant waste. Elyse then moved to IMEG Corp. in 2015 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. In 2019, they joined Infrastructure Factor Consulting (iFactor) as an Associate Mechanical Engineer and was later promoted to Mechanical Engineer. In 2022, Elyse will become President-Elect of ASHRAE Southern California Chapter.
Elyse Johnson earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2015, after graduating from Rubidoux High School. In 2019, they obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the California Department of Consumer Affairs, and in 2015 they obtained their Engineer in Training certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
