Johannes Kaup

Johannes Kaup, CFA has a strong background in finance and banking, with a focus on the telecom, media, and technology (TMT) and healthcare sectors. Johannes currently holds the position of Vice President at ING Australia, where they lead the TMT & Healthcare sector team. In this role, they provide banking services and complex financing solutions to various industries, including telecommunications, media, technology, satellite, and healthcare companies. Johannes is experienced in offering custom-built solutions such as secured and unsecured debt, bridge loans, project finance, and advisory services. Prior to their current role, they also held positions at ING and UniCredit, gaining experience in structured finance and project finance. Johannes began their career as an intern at Bayerische Landesbank and Allianz Group, where they gained exposure to financial markets and asset management, respectively.

Johannes Kaup, CFA has a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from Chulalongkorn University (2013-2015) and a Master of Science (MSc) in International Finance & Economics from the Institute of Technology Nuremberg (2013-2015). Johannes also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin (2009-2013). In addition, they pursued studies in International Business at the University of Technology Sydney (2011-2012). Johannes has also obtained certifications in Bloomberg Essentials (Equity, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX) and as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in Excel 2013 Expert, both achieved in 2014.
