Athanasios Papoutsis

Athanasios Papoutsis is a Senior Data Engineer at ING since April 2018, focusing on the design, creation, and maintenance of the central Risk Model Data Mart to support Credit Risk Model Development and Validation activities. Prior experience includes working as a Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Engineer at Sword Group, where responsibilities involved analyzing data warehouse systems and building ETL flows using SAS DI Studio. As a Business Analytics Consultant at Analytical View, Athanasios led the design and implementation of a GDPR project for a prominent insurance company in Greece, which became a global reference from SAS. Previous roles include positions as a Contract Software Engineer and Software Engineer Intern at Citrix, where duties encompassed developing APIs and graphical user interfaces. Athanasios holds a diploma equivalent to an MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
