Gert Berendse

Gert Berendse is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in sales trading and equity markets. Since August 2012, Gert has served as the Head of Equity Markets and previously as the Head of GEP Western European Sales Trading at ING. Prior to this role, Gert was with Societe Generale from October 2007 to August 2012, leading Sales Trading for International Clients. Gert also gained valuable experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from September 1999 to October 2007 in a sales trading capacity. Gert holds a Doctorandus degree in Financial Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, earned between 1986 and 1993.
