Michael Hufton is the founder and managing director of ingage IR. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including positions as a fund manager, analyst, and partner at various firms.
Hufton began their career at Cazenove & Co in 1995, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a partner. In 2003, they left Cazenove to join Trinity Street Asset Management as a partner and fund manager. Michael remained in this role for five years before moving to Polar Capital Partners in 2012, where they served as a partner, fund manager, and analyst for one year.
In January 2008, Hufton joined Sloane Robinson as a fund manager and analyst. Michael remained with the company for four years before founding ingage IR in December 2012. Under Hufton's leadership, ingage IR has become one of the leading independent investor relations firms in the UK.
After completing their A-levels at Cranleigh School, Michael Hufton attended Durham University where they studied Modern Languages, specializing in French and Spanish. Michael then went on to earn their Fellowship from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
