Brian Vice

Brian Vice has over 8 years of professional experience in the software industry. Brian began their career in 2012 as a QA Mobile Team Lead at SAP, where they were responsible for responding to customer defects on Afaria, SAP's Mobile Device Management (MDM) software solution, developing minor feature enhancements, and delivering high-profile bug and crash fixes. In 2014, they joined Ingenious Med as a Scrum Master, where they served as a servant-leader for the high-performing iOS development team and oversaw the end-to-end delivery of iOS feature/defect mobile releases. Brian then moved into a Quality Assurance Manager role, where they directly supervised a total of 6 QA Analysts, both local and global for the Mobile QA team. Brian spearheaded the initiative to maintain a best-in-class 2% crash rate for both iOS and Android platforms, and individually identified and triaged customer issues for both mobile platform teams. Brian then moved into a QA Mobile Analyst role, where they developed new feature sets that aligned with business requirements that met the strategic goals of the company. In 2022, they were promoted to Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Ingenious Med.

Brian Vice obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Kennesaw State University in 2013. Brian has since obtained a number of certifications, including a Certified Agile Leadership Essential and Certified Agile Leadership for Teams from the Scrum Alliance in 2021, Security Testing for Test Professionals from Coveros in 2020, ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Testing from ICAgile in 2019, Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in 2018, ISTQB Certified Mobile Tester from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2018, Introduction to C# from Accelebrate in 2018, Certified Foundation Level Tester from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2017, Supervision and Management Fundamentals from the College of Continuing and Professional Education at KSU in 2016, Certified Agile Development Fundamentals from LeadingAgile in 2015, Interpersonal Communication from the College of Continuing and Professional Education at KSU in 2015, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt in 2014, HIPPA Certified from Litmos by CallidusCloud in 2014, and Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in 2020.
