Heather Miller

Heather Miller, CPA, has a work experience spanning over many years. Heather is currently working at Ingevity as the VP of Tax since October 2023. Before that, they worked as the Sr. Director of Global Tax Accounting and Compliance at Ingevity from May 2022 to October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Income Tax Reporting and Compliance at Ingevity from June 2020 to April 2022, and as the Senior Manager of Tax Accounting from September 2019 to June 2020.

Before joining Ingevity, Heather worked at Zimmer Biomet as the Associate Director of Tax Operations and Technology from November 2017 to September 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Tax Provision Manager from April 2017 to November 2017 and Tax Compliance Manager from March 2016 to April 2017.

Their earlier work experience includes roles at Yum! Brands, where they served as the Associate Manager of Global Tax Compliance from February 2014 to March 2016, Sr. Analyst of Tax Controversy from January 2012 to February 2014, and Analyst of Domestic Tax Compliance from April 2010 to January 2012.

Heather also has experience working at KPMG, where they worked as the Senior Tax Associate from January 2009 to April 2010 and Tax Associate from January 2008 to January 2009.

At the start of their career, Heather worked as a Research Coordinator at the University of Louisville from January 2005 to January 2008.

Heather Miller, CPA completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of Evansville in 1998. In 2001, they pursued further studies and completed a Master of Science degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from the University of Louisville. From 2005 to 2007, they focused on their field of interest and studied Accounting from the same university.
