Maya Rozhansky A-CSM, PMI-BA, ICP-ACC, SAFe 5 POPM

Maya Rozhansky has been working in the IT industry since 2004. Maya Rozhansky began their career at DIRECTV as a Sr. Programmer Analyst, a role they held for eight years. In 2012, they moved to Sony Pictures Entertainment/TCS as a Project Manager, Application Lead. In 2013, they joined Princess Cruises as a Scrum Master/Business Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for Scrum Master duties, release management, data and systems analysis. In 2015, they moved to Holland America - Princess as a Technical Project Manager/Senior Scrum Master. During their time in this role, they achieved a transformation of IT dispersed back-end and cross-functional teams into aligned highly effective Agile teams, increased ROI for business by 35%, cultivated on time delivery of individual IT projects, formalized Atlassian JIRA and Confluence as collaborative workspace for the teams, successfully collaborated across organizational boundaries, built relationships, and extended organizational alignment of technical and business teams to achieve the Program Plan outcomes according to the company’s strategic goals. Maya Rozhansky also managed cross-functional and cross-projects dependencies for 3-4 teams at a time, and created training sessions for the newly formed teams. In 2021, they joined PMI-Los Angeles Chapter as a Sr. Project Manager. Currently, they are working at Ingredients Online as a Sr. Project Manager and Agile Coach.

Maya Rozhansky holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate. Maya Rozhansky obtained their Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in November 2013, followed by their PMI-PBA certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2017. In November 2020, they obtained their Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, and their Agile Coaching Professional ICP-ACC certification from ICAgile in December 2020. In May 2021, they obtained their Agile Team Facilitation ICP-ATF certification from Cprime Learning, and in December 2021, they obtained their Journey to Masterful Agile Team Coaching certification from TeamCatapult. Maya Rozhansky also completed the 120VC Transformational Leadership Academy in 2020, focusing on Leadership, Project Leadership, Product Leadership, Program Leadership, and Team Leadership. Maya Rozhansky is currently enrolled at Teamcatapult, studying Organizational Leadership, Agile Team coaching, Agile Coach/Mentor, Agile Trainer, and Facilitator. Additionally, they hold a SAFe 5 POPM certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
