James Geddes

James Geddes is an experienced advisor and entrepreneur specializing in startups, business planning, and funding strategies. At The Geddes Group from April 2011 to May 2024, James provided critical support in fundraising, recruiting, and exit strategies for various startups. Previously, James served as a Senior Advisor for BitPlay.Today from January 2014 to January 2021 and was a member of an Angel VC fund from January 2004 to December 2009. As the Founder and President/CEO of SayHello from March 2006 to October 2008, James pioneered the first advertiser-supported mobile search voice portal, securing $3 million in startup funding and developing a range of mobile search services. Additionally, James co-founded EnCompass Group Inc. and held the title of Senior Managing Director, successfully launching the subsidiary of Tokyo-based Trans Cosmos Inc.
