Andrea Hammons

Andrea Hammons has an extensive work experience history in the medical and scientific field. Andrea is currently the VP, Medical Director at Inizio Evoke, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Science and Medicine at Inizio Evoke from January 2020 to January 2023. Before joining Inizio Evoke, they worked at Parexel as a Senior Scientific Specialist from August 2019 to January 2020 and as a Scientific Specialist from June 2017 to August 2019. Andrea also has experience working at ArticulateScience, where they held the position of Senior Medical Writer from January 2014 to June 2017 and Medical Writer from December 2011 to December 2013. In addition, they worked at the University of Pennsylvania as an Affiliated Scientist, Institutional Review Board from January 2010 to November 2011.

Andrea Hammons earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Saint Joseph's University from 2002 to 2006. Andrea proceeded to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2006 to 2011. In 2009, they pursued a certificate in Translational Research at the University of Pennsylvania. Furthermore, in April 2017, Andrea obtained certification as a Certified Medical Publication Professional from ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals).
