Francis Sowani has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. In 2011, they began their career as a Research Intern at the Center for Technology and Economic Development (CTED). From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. In 2014, they joined Agility Grid East Africa as an IT Consultant for a short period of time. The same year, they started working at Booz Allen Hamilton, initially as a Consultant, and later as a Senior Consultant in Cyber Security until 2020. Currently, Francis holds the position of Senior Security Engineer at Injazat, starting in 2021.

Francis Sowani began their education journey in 2010 when they enrolled at New York University Abu Dhabi. Francis pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering and completed their studies in 2014.

In addition to their degree, Francis obtained several certifications. In 2015, they acquired the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA. Following that, in 2016, they earned the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification from GIAC Certifications. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council. Finally, in 2019, they completed the Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training course provided by OPITO.

Overall, Francis Sowani has a strong educational background in Computer Engineering, with certifications showcasing their expertise in cybersecurity and offshore safety.
