Amanda Jacobsmeyer has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of media strategy, public relations, and communications. Amanda started their career at The Allazo Group as a Public Relations Intern, where they managed a WordPress blog and pitched press releases to major news outlets. Amanda then worked as a Communications Intern at Cahoots Fitness, where they created social media content and successfully grew the gym's Instagram following and membership. Amanda also gained experience as a Public Affairs Intern at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they planned and implemented social media campaigns and wrote press releases. Amanda furthered their media and PR skills as a Representative Trainer at the Missionary Training Center, where they conducted trainings and assisted with administrative duties. Amanda then took on the role of Media Assistant at EngenderHealth, where they crafted social media content and monitored media coverage. Amanda later joined ASTRSK as an Assistant Account Executive, building personal relationships with clients and press. Amanda was promoted to the role of Account Executive, where they prioritized tasks and focused on client goals. At their most recent position at Inkhouse, they served as a Senior Account Executive, Senior Media Specialist, and eventually became the Director of Media Strategy. In this position, they led efforts to secure media coverage for enterprise tech companies and mentored PR professionals.
Amanda Jacobsmeyer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations at Brigham Young University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2011 to 2012. In addition, Amanda holds certifications in NUVI and CPR.
