Robert Cruikshanks holds a B.Sc. Hons. and a Ph.D. in Zoology from University College Dublin, where expertise in ecological assessment and freshwater biology was developed. Since October 2009, Robert has been employed at Inland Fisheries Ireland, serving in various roles including Freshwater Biologist and Team Leader, with a focus on the National Eel Monitoring and Scientific Eel Fishery Programmes. Previous experience includes managing projects at University College Dublin, such as the WETBALANCE Project and FORWATER, where emphasis was placed on hydrochemical and biological assessments of constructed wetlands and forestry impacts on water quality.
