Tanya Amit Tyagi

Tanya Amit Tyagi is currently serving as a Hilfswissenschaftler (Research Assistant) at the INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials since March 2023, focusing on lab tasks related to genetic engineering on bacteria. Previous experience includes working as a Peer Review Advisor and Editorial Advisor at Springer Nature Group from October 2020 to September 2022, and an internship at MyGenomeBox in early 2020, where innovative ideas for DNA-based applications were researched. Tanya also completed an internship at Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. in mid-2019. Academically, Tanya is pursuing a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at Universität des Saarlandes, following a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute. Early education includes completing ICSE at Mount Saint Patrick Academy and studies at Rosary Junior College.
