Yang Zhan, Ph.D.

Yang Zhan, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Program Manager at Inmagene Biopharmaceuticals. From 2017-2020, they were a Senior Program Manager at WuXi AppTec, where they designed overall strategies and direction of preclinical and early clinical trials to meet regulatory requirements, supervised and monitored multiple disciplinary activities for sponsors, defined scope of work and generated timelines for IND enabling projects, kept clients and project teams updated on progress, and prepared regulatory submission documents and dossier writing. From 2015-2017, they were a Scientist at GSK, where they led the optimization stage in drug discovery of small-molecule projects, directed biology and DMPK groups to design and improve the profiles of small molecules, and independently designed structures of biologically active molecules to conduct SAR studies.

Yang Zhan, Ph.D. received their Bachelor's degree in Life Science and Technology from China Pharmaceutical University between 2006 and 2010. Yang then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2010 and 2015.
