Karen Dickens has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Karen started their career at Piedmont Airlines as a Charter and Convention Sales Agent from June 1986 to August 1988. Karen then joined USAIRWAYS INC in September 1988 and held various roles such as Meeting and Convention Development Analyst/Sales Representative, Quality Assurance Specialist/Chairman's Preferred Personal Liaison, and Consumer Affairs Specialist until May 2004.
In 2005, Karen joined Inmar Intelligence where they initially worked as a Senior Account Representative, providing customer service and analytical support for clients. Karen later advanced to roles such as Senior Account Executive, Collaborative Market Development Manager, Marketing Manager, Promotions Network, and Business Development Manager between 2007 and 2014. Karen then served as a Supply Chain Manager Client Relations from March 2014 to March 2016.
From March 2016 onwards, Karen held the position of Senior Account Executive at Inmar Intelligence. Karen effectively managed a $14M book of business, developed relationships with key influencers, and ensured client satisfaction with the company's products and services.
In January 2020, Karen took on the role of Client Development Director at Inmar Intelligence, where they continue to contribute to client retention and profitability.
Karen Dickens attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management. Karen also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from UNC Wilmington during the same time period. Additionally, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in July 2014. Before attending university, Karen attended Davie High, but no specific degree or field of study was obtained from there.
