Katayoon Taherkhani

Katayoon Taherkhani is an accomplished Mechatronics Engineer with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as an R&D Mechatronics Developer at Inmotive Inc. since July 2023, where responsibilities include design, fabrication, and electronic hardware testing for Ingear transmission systems. In addition, Katayoon advocates for women in the 3D printing industry as an Ambassador for the Women in 3D Printing organization since August 2022. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Laboratory, Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, and Research and Development Engineer at Naj Robotic, highlighting a robust background in control systems and data analysis. Katayoon holds a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, along with a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering, respectively.
